F.A.S.S. Twenty fourth Annual Remembrance Service

November 23, 2017

This evening the choir was privileged to make its annual visit to St Alphonsus Church in Glasgow to help provide the music for an ecumenical service organised by FASS. This is a Glasgow-based organisation which supports families who have suffered the death of a family member due to drug-abuse during the course of the year. Choir members have participated in this service for the past twenty four years and always find it an extremely moving event. Almost 100 names were read out this evening, a group representing the total who have died. Each lit candle you see in front of the altar symbolises a friend or family member being remembered and prayed for this evening. If you wish to contact FASS, you can reach them via their website : www.fassglasgow.org, or click on the button below.
